Compared with traditional monoclonal antibody and polyclonal antibody, recombinant antibody has several advantages as follows.


Higher consistency and repeatability

Antibody production quality is controlled by a unique set of genes, and batch-to-batch variation in antibodies is very small. Some problems in the preparation of hybridoma cells, such as gene loss, gene mutation and cell line drift, can be avoided.


Stronger sensitivity and specificity 

With recombinant technology, it is easier to improve antibody specificity and sensitivity through antibody engineering. The selection process for the desired clones occurs at the stage of hybridoma cells and recombinant clones, which allowed us to select the optimal antibody quality.
